My name is Ricardo Villarreal, and I am running for Congress.
As a physician, an Army veteran, a public policy advocate, a husband, and a father, I know too well the struggles Texans face. With more than 25 years of public service solving problems, I'm ready to serve you and bring the voice of South Texas to Washington.
Affordability
We are hard workers, but nearly one in five people in the district is living below the poverty level. Not enough has been done to increase wages and reduce the cost of living.
Accountability
The government should work for us, not against us. We need to stand up and fight against fraud, waste and abuse, or the weaponization of the government.
